M-Gallery (Ashikaga, March 2023)

Outside the window, beyond the harshness of winter, plants and trees are beginning to sprout anew. The essence of life seems to shine and glitter after surmounting adversity and restraint. Even in the background of the great mathematical discoveries that form the foundation of our modern lives, there are episodes of vivid conflict, and familiar music is born from the love, hate, and joys and sorrows of pianists. We can feel a sense of eternity amid moss-covered old temples and even a rather profound sense of mystery in the broken statues of Venus, other deities and Buddha. On the other hand, even today, when we have begun to explore the essence of diversity and how things should be, it remains not easy to find answers to various divisions and conflicts. We face and grapple with every conflict, reflect on our own ineptitude and stupidity and resist them, we taste defeat, and we continue to take seemingly pointless challenges against a side that we still cannot reach. Amid this overwhelming laughable accumulation, we continue to walk forward because our true nature surely knows that there are as yet undiscovered views at the end of a transcendental window that lacks entrances and exits.
