私の作品には、たくさんの色彩が使用されていますが、それが、ひとまとまりに見えるという特徴があります。また色彩と筆致の関係や、部分と全体にも、不一致と統合を感じることがあります。「わかりにくい」とされるものは、否定される場合もありますが、その存在を証明する努力をして「魅力」を得るが出来た時、今までにない価値観や意味をもたらす力を秘めていると、私は考えていて、この展示では、私が幼い頃に影響を受けた、騙し絵の絵本をヒントにして、わかりにくさの中に実は面白さが隠れている感覚を表現しました。
